Plain-English summary: use Publick for what it was built for, don't break the law or abuse the platform, you own what you create, we own what we build, and either of us can walk away with fair notice.

1. Who this applies to

These Terms govern use of the Publick platform — web app, API, browser extensions, and any integrations we publish — by anyone who signs in, including individuals, teams, and agencies on behalf of their clients.

2. Your account

You're responsible for what happens under your login. Keep credentials private, use SSO where offered, and tell us fast if something looks compromised. Admins of a workspace are responsible for the seats they invite.

3. Acceptable use

Don't use Publick to:

  • Generate content that's illegal, defamatory, deceptive, or infringes on someone else's rights.
  • Target, harass, or misrepresent real people without their consent.
  • Automate activity that violates a connected platform's terms (Instagram, TikTok, etc.).
  • Evade rate limits, scrape the product, or probe it for vulnerabilities outside a disclosed program.

4. Content you create

You own the content you generate through Publick. You grant us a limited license to host, transmit, and display it so we can provide the service — nothing more. We don't use your content to train shared models by default. Training happens on a per-workspace basis so your patterns stay yours.

5. Our platform

Publick's software, models, prompts, infrastructure, and brand are ours. Nothing in these Terms transfers them to you. Feedback you share about the product is great — and if you give it, we can use it freely.

6. Plans, trials, and billing

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, in advance. Trials end on their stated date. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated. Downgrades apply at the start of the next billing period. Overages on usage-metered credits are billed on the following invoice.

7. Third-party channels

Publick connects to third-party platforms on your behalf. Those platforms have their own terms, rate limits, and service availability. When they change, our integration may change with them — we'll communicate material changes in advance where we can.

8. Availability and SLAs

We aim for 99.9% monthly uptime on the production API and dashboard. Enterprise customers can contract to a dedicated SLA; otherwise we publish incidents and postmortems at our status page.

9. Termination

You can cancel any time from Settings → Billing. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, fail payment, or put other customers at risk. On termination, you have 30 days to export your data before it's permanently deleted.

10. Disclaimers & liability

Publick is provided "as is." AI outputs are a starting point, not a finished promise — review before you publish. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

11. Changes

We'll update these Terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced in-app and over email at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use Publick after that means you accept the new version.
